Overview
Pakoda is a spicy fried snack of Uttar Pradesh. It is also known as Pakora or Pakodi. It can be both vegetarian or non- vegetarian. In many parts of the country it is made out of chicken or fish balls. But in Uttar Pradesh the snack is made of Paneer, tomato, tomato, onion, spinach, eggplant, cauliflower or plantain.
This dish is prepared by dipping the ingredient say onion in batter of gram flour. It is then deep fried. The dish is served hot with tea or coffee. t is usually paired up with green chilli chutney or red sauce. In most part of the country this dish is served.
